Abstract

Efficiency is an effort made with the aim of reducing the amount of energy needed, in using an equipment or even an energy-related system. Improvements in energy efficiency are generally achieved by adopting more efficient technology or production processes to reduce energy expenditure. The object of this research is a household simulation module by utilizing a digital mcb timer and remote wireless control in order to increase the efficiency of using electric power and this is actually the strategy behind electrical efficiency tools in homes. This tool is claimed to be able to reduce monthly electricity bills by minimizing the use of electrical power in the household. The efficiency value of using a digital mcb timer was obtained by 50% from the results of research or testing load data for seven days with a simulation of a house living away, outdoor lights on for 24 hours, and lights on for 12 hours using a digital mcb timer. because the use of the digital timer mcb affects the load power consumption time so that the power used is half of the power usage before using the digital timer mcb.
