Abstract
This final project aims to find out the obstacles in the procedure for loading and unloading of containers at PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas Perawang. loading and unloading of containers at PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas Perawang, and how PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas Perawang is trying to provide maximum service in container loading and unloading activities. The method used for data collection is the observation and interview method, the time of the research will be carried out from April to May 2023. The results of this study are that the procedure for loading and unloading activities at PT. Pelindo Perawang Container Terminal has not run well because there are several obstacles, such as frequent delays in ship arrivals, unfavorable weather during loading and unloading activities, and network disturbances during the process of loading and unloading containers. Efforts made by PT. Pelindo Perawang Container Terminal to provide maximum service in container loading and unloading activities is the Perawang container ter-minal integrates with the port of origin (POL) so that the ship unloading data input by the ship-ping party or customer is valid and in accordance with the data input by POL, Performs control loading and unloading regularly so that activities can run smoothly and achieve the desired B/S/H targets, Maximizing activities at the wharf by only serving 2 ships per day, Allocating loading and unloading equipment according to the needs per ship, so that ship services can be carried out optimally.
