Abstract

Ro-Ro ships are a type of transportation that is widely used by the people of Bengkalis, therefore an application is needed to order roro tickets online. This application aims to provide convenience for customers in ordering roro tickets without the need to queue. Customers can order tickets online through the website provided and make payments via ATM. After placing an order, customers will receive an electronic ticket that can be downloaded or printed to take with them when departing. This system also provides a feature to order tickets online and is equipped with a QR Code. This website was built using the PHP programming language, MySQL as the database and the CodeIgniter4 framework. In addition, application testing is carried out using Black Box testing, where testing on the user, operator and admin side is carried out directly by testing all the features available in the application to ensure that the application runs successfully and is as expected. However, regarding the application that was built to be developed with the addition of features for making payments through digital wallets, and searching for tickets according to the time of departure so that it is easier for users to order tickets.
