Abstract
This study aims to determine how the influence of Good Government Governance on Fraud Prevention in the Villages of Bengkalis and Banta Districts and How Competence Influences the Prevention of Fraud in the Villages of Bengkalis and Bantan Districts. This study uses a quantitative approach and uses primary data. The population in this study was 153 respondents with a sampling technique using purposive sampling with a Likert scale measurement. Data is processed through the SPSS 25 program with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that partially the Good Government Governance variable had a positive effect on fraud prevention, the competence variable had an effect on fraud prevention. The Adjusted R square value of 27.2% was obtained, which means that the Good Government Governance (Y) variable was influenced by the variable tested by the author while the remaining 26.2% was influenced by other variables not included in this study.
