Abstract

Rice husk grinding machine, the manufacture of this tool serves to make it easier for farmers to manage rice husk waste into animal feed ingredients, after making observations the next stage is planning, starting from designing drawings, calculating to determine the components to be used. The next stage is the manufacturing and assembly process. With a rice husk grinder designed with a capacity of 5 kg/hour, it can help farmers to manage rice husk waste, where this tool has 16 L-shaped blades, it is expected to be able to grind rice husks optimally. From the results of 3 tests with the same speed of 2500 rpm with different filter sizes. The first test using a sieve with a size of 0.5 mm in a capacity of 5 kg takes 55 minutes, the second test uses a sieve with a size of 0.8 mm in a capacity of 5 kg takes 45 minutes and the third test uses a sieve with a size of 1 mm takes 35 minutes . From the test results above, farmers can choose the desired level of fineness of rice husk.
