Abstract
Inventory in a company is closely related to the activities of collecting data about activities and transactions in and out of a company's goods. Because inventory is important for the company, the existence of an information technology-based inventory system is needed to facilitate the recording and processing of transactions compared to the manual method. For this reason, an information system is needed that can help process inventory data processing at PT. Natural Balance. In processing data, especially the inventory section, they still use the manual method, this makes PT. Imbang Tata Alam in the warehouse division was overwhelmed with data processing, so there was a need for a system to facilitate the process of collecting data on goods. The purpose of this research is to analyze and design a web-based goods inventory information system so that the data obtained is more accurate and minimizes errors in data processing. The method used in developing this system is using the RUP (Rational Unified Process) method and conducting observations and interviews with the parties involved. For system design using Analysis and Design using UML such as use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams. The results of the goods inventory system have been successfully built by applying the stages of the RUP method with the final result of 100% usability testing so that this website is feasible to use.
