Abstract

Plastic is a material that is widely used in everyday life, because it has advantages such as being strong, light and stable. However, the plastics on the market today are synthetic polymers made from petroleum which are difficult to decompose in nature. Judging from the nature of the plastic composition which is composed of petroleum hydrocarbon components, plastic waste has the potential to be converted into fuel. The technique used to restore plastic materials is to break the carbon or polymer chains that become hydrocarbons. The purpose of the al design of a tool for processing waste plastic into fuel oil is to design a waste processing installation in plastic to produce oil (BBM), make a design drawing of the planned tool, determine the material to be used, make and assemble the tool according to the design. planned. In pyrolysis equipment, the process of decomposition of organic compounds occurs in the material. This decomposition is caused by the heating process without direct exposure to air with little oxygen. The plastic waste processing equipment that will be planned includes combustion chamber design, reactor design, steam fence pipe design, connecting pipe design between the reactor and the steam fence pipe.
