Abstract

Some cases of using electrical energy during peak load conditions, resulting in the source of electrical energy being cut off by an electrical safety device, the equipment connected to the electrical energy source dies resulting in the electrical appliance being damaged. ATMega328P microcontroller as the brain of the control device to monitor the electric current using a 20x4 LCD, the PZEM-004T sensor reads the load current used, if excess then the information is sent to the Arduino Uno ATMega328P board then instructs the relay to turn off the channel with a limiter of 2 A, 4 A and 6 A, the process of turning off the channel looks at the time of day and night time factors, The time difference indicates the difference between prioritized and non-prioritized channels, then the buzzer sounds as a provider of information on the occurrence of overload, if the problem caused by overcurrent has been corrected, only need to press the reset button so that the control system tool works again as before. Average power error 3.23 %, average voltage error 0.16 %, average current error 2.03 %. At a 2 A limiter with a sensor reading of 2.22 A, at a 4 A limiter with a sensor reading of 4.38 A and at a 6 A limiter with a sensor reading of 6.34 A the system can turn off both channels when the sensor reading exceeds the limiting value.
