Abstract

A pump is a machine that converts energy from mechanical energy into hydraulic energy. A well-working machine in principle does not cause vibration at all and all the energy produced is converted into work. Fixed clutch installation using a belt aims to avoid egigment and to minimize vibration in the pump, different belt installation models will cause different vibration values. The purpose of this study was to analyze the vibration of the belt mounting model between the two fixed couplings. Get the smallest vibration value in centrifugal pumps with a belt mounting model between the two fixed couplings. Determine the value of the vibration analysis results of the belt mounting model against ISO vibration 10816. The outer-inside belt mounting model is the installation model with the smallest vibration deviation value of 1.149928 mm in the X-axis direction, while the highest deviation value in the inner-in belt mounting model is 21.17242 mm in the Y-axis direction. The results of the vibration value analysis of ISO vibration 10816, it was found that the vibration in the belt installation, be it inside-in, outside-inside and inside-inside was at the red or unacceptable level.
