Abstract
A knife sharpener is a tool that is really needed to sharpen knives, where knives are the main tool used in the kitchen or other work. Workers or small entrepreneurs who use knives really need to pay attention to the sharpness of the blade so that the work they do runs easily. The process of sharpening knives at this time is still done manually with a whetstone/scouring stone which will take longer and be draining. A knife sharpener is a tool that is really needed to sharpen knives, where knives are the main tool used in the kitchen or other work. Therefore, there is a need to develop or update knife sharpeners. Based on observations made by the author, it is necessary to make a tool, namely "Making a Knife Sharpening Machine with a Belt Mechanical System". With this tool, it will help the knife sharpening process quickly without draining your energy.
