Abstract

Modification of a carrying type lawn mower to a push type is a tool used to simplify the process of cutting grass compared to using a carrying type. Making a tool by modifying a carrying type lawn machine to a push type using hollow steel 15 x 30 cm then 4 wheels as a support so that the movement of the machine is stable, equipped with 2 front and rear guards and a steering wheel in the form of a handlebar plus a handgrip to make the steering grip more comfortable. From the data generated, the time comparison between the carrying lawn mower and the modification to the push type is equally 15 minutes with the area obtained being 36 m2 for the carrying type and 56 m2 for the modification to the push type. So the modification to the push type is faster than the carry type. The ef iciency obtained from the modification of the push type is 106, 87 % while the carrying type is 89 %
