Abstract

Design of a semi-automatic donut dough mixer using a robin machine using a 4 mm angle iron then 2 bearing holders as the pivot position so that the mixing machine is stable, equipped with a container and also a gearbox. robin machine the maximum time to produce a good dough takes 5.46 minutes with a dough weight of 1 kg, while a dough weight of 2 kg takes 6.46 minutes. Compared with manual mixing of dough weighing 2 kg, it takes 40 minutes. So the semi-automatic donut mixer using a robin machine is faster than the manual type. The efficiency obtained from the semi-automatic donut mixer using a robin machine is 50% while the manual type is 3%.
