Abstract
Semi-automatic hydraulic shock absorber spring removal tool is a tool for removing and installing rear shock absorber springs on motorcycles. From the auxiliary equipment, it is hoped that there will be no difficulty in removing and installing the spring and it remains in the specified position so that the process of removing and installing the shock absorber spring can be easily carried out. This tool works by lifting hydraulically using a DC electric motor with a speed control of the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) system, then using a 2 ton hydraulic jack. To remove and install the shock absorber spring manually, it still takes an average of 8-10 minutes. The performance of the tool using a semi-automatic system is more effective than using a manual system, because it can be seen from the faster time indicator in removing the spring and installing the bolt on the tube, as evidenced by the 4 types of shock absorbers taken with an average time of 40-41 second.
