Abstract

Pollution does not only occur outdoors but also indoors. The biggest factor causing poor indoor air quality is poor air circulation and the presence of pollutants. Poor indoor air quality can cause various diseases. In order to maintain indoor air quality, it is necessary to have an automatic air purifier system in the room to monitor the air in the room, especially in closed rooms. In designing an automatic air purifier system for smoke and dust. The system uses 1 GP2Y1010AU0F sensor that detects dust and smoke, 1 NodeMCU microcontroller. NodeMCU sends a notification via Telegram when the sensor reading value indicates the presence of dust and smoke in the room. Notifications via Telegram can help users for early notification of air quality status. From the results obtained, the system can be used to observe the air quality in the room.
