Abstract

DC motor is one of the loads used in industry for the production process. DC motor control systems in the industry use cables as a medium for sending the results of monitoring rotational speed, current, and temperature. Wireless control systems are growing and being applied to many control systems. Electric motors can be controlled remotely using the internet of things with the Arduino IoT cloud application as the sender and receiver of monitoring results. The purpose of this study was to produce a DC motor monitoring system for rotational speed, current, voltage and temperature using the Arduino IoT cloud application based on the internet of things and to find out the results of testing the DC motor monitoring system for rotational speed, current and temperature. The results of this study are a prototype monitoring system for rotating speed, current and temperature of a DC motor with the results of reading the rotational speed, current and temperature with a 400 gram load having an error of 0,85 % current, 16,2 % rotational speed and 2,38 % temperature.
