Abstract
The transportation used for Siak City tourism is still very minimal. There are only fishing boats that are used as transportation tours, because it is very necessary to plan a tourist boat that is operated for transportation in the Siak City area. In determining the main size of the ship, using the Parent Design Approach method which refers to the number of passengers, type of ship and type of ship material so that the main dimensions of the ship are obtained, namely: L = 23.26 m, B = 7.30, H = 3.40 m , T= 1 m furthermore the design process of the Line Plan and the General Plan of this ship refers to the ships operating with the aim of local choice. As for the assessment according to the criteria for passenger ships that refer to the IMO Standard (international Maritime Organization) Code A.749 (18) Ch 3, and the results of the analysis obtained with the criteria used, tourism development is very necessary because it will support the tourism economic sector.
