Abstract

Bengkalis city has Malay culture because Bengkalis is famous for Malay traditions, and the Bengkalis Malay wedding procession is a customary manifestation that is still cultivated today. The wedding ceremony for Malay marriage is a must and it can be held in a small or big ceremony. And the procession of Bengkalis Malay Wedding is very long and complex. The purpose of the study is to introduce and promote culture of Bengkalis Malay wedding. This study was used descriptive method. Then, the result of this study was a promotion video to increase people’s understanding or give informati on about culture and custom of Bengkalis Malay Wedding.
