Abstract

Electrical energy is a very important need for humans, because all activities cannot be separated from electrical energy. One of them is working fishermen who catch fish in the sea every day, electrical energy is really needed to power the boat and light the lights of fishing boats at night. This makes it easier for fishermen to catch fish at night. Most of the Bengkalis people work as fishermen, their activities as fishermen use fishing boats which are generally made of wood. In the working system of the designed tool, the power sources that can be used are DC and AC voltage, AC voltage is obtained from a generator or PLN source and DC voltage is obtained from the battery, the battery is an alternative source which functions as a store of electric current from a DC power source. the battery from DC to AC current, because the electrical source loads AC current. In this test, a 500 watt inverter and battery were used to store energy, and the load used was 3 lamps and a magic com. The first lamp uses a 10 watt lamp with an inverter voltage of 226 V and an inverter current of 0.3 A and a cos phi value of 0.15, while the second lamp uses a 30 watt lamp with an inverter voltage of 222 V and an inverter current of 0.14 A and a value of cos phi 0.49, while the third lamp uses a 30 watt lamp with an inverter voltage of 229 V and an inverter current of 0.24 A and a cos phi value of 0.49, and uses a magic com watt with an inverter voltage of 214 V and an inverter current of 0.39 A and a cos phi value of 0.81. Maximum load or average value 58.88.
