Abstract

The main purpose of this final project was to compile and make English subtitle for Dumai tourism video. The method of this study was classified into descriptive method. There were several steps in making this video such as collecting data and providing material, listing and downloading tourism destination video, writing and translating audio script, compile the video, merging the video, editing speed, adding audio, editing process, merging video recording the audio, inserting audio, inserting the subtitle, and exporting the video. The length of video was about 12.33 minutes. It consists of explanation about seven tourism destinations in Dumai City. This video was expected to support the Dumai government in promoting tourism to attract tourist from domestic and other countries.
