Abstract

This research aims to gather data, perform static analysis, and evaluate the influence of transfer carriage shaft performance on torque load and bending. Based on the collected data and calculations, ANSYS software simulations were conducted to analyze the impact of different fillet radii. The results indicate that a fillet radius of 11 mm provides improvements compared to fillet-less shafts, with a 263.6% increase in life and a 42.42% increase in safety factor. This study significantly contributes to reducing damage to transfer carriages and enhancing the efficiency of palm oil processing plants.
