Abstract

Currently, the packaging designs used by SMEs do not contain design elements such as color, typography, etc., making them less attractive to consumers. The packaging currently used only uses conventional packaging. With problems like that, it is necessary to design attractive packaging designs as a means of increasing product value. By developing a more attractive packaging design, it is hoped that it can arouse interest and reach more consumers, as well as stand out from competitors in the same field. Survey to MSME this packaging activity also aims to increase the appeal of the audience and the awareness of the brand. In addition, it can help to increase the profit and progress of MSME business in Kuala Alam Village based on the results and discussion regarding packaging design for Kuala Alam Village MSME products, it can be concluded that providing attractive designs on packaging is very helpful in introducing local products from Kuala Alam Village which have sales potential. Packaging design is very important because it has a huge impact on the product and brand as a whole.
