Abstract

In recent years, the use of the internet has become increasingly popular. With the rapid development of technology today, one of which is the development of the internet, it has a huge impact on all aspects of life such as the business sector. Online shopping is one of the most popular payment methods for online buying and selling transactions. Cash on Delivery (COD) is a payment method that is widely used by business people as a strategy in attracting buyers or finding customers so as to increase sales of their products. The payment method in question has mutated and provides a variety of e-commerce payment methods. In this study, researchers analyzed the effect of the seller's level of trust on consumers with the COD payment transaction system in Indonesia.This research uses quantitative methods using Random Sampling. with purposive sampling. The sample in this study were 100 respondents, data processing using the IBM SPSS version 20 application with multiple linear regression analysis testing which includes validity test reliability test, T test, F test, and coefficient of determination (R2). Based on the results of the RSquare value of 0.457, which means that the seller trust level variable (X) can affect the COD payment system variable (Y) by 4.57 and the remaining 54.3% is explained by other variables that affect the COD payment system. other variables that affect the COD payment system COD payment system outside of this study.
