Abstract
The analysis of temperature output on the production quantity of liquid smoke using Mamdani fuzzy logic was conducted to understand how temperature can affect the production of liquid smoke. Liquid smoke is the result of the condensation of smoke produced through the combustion of charcoal wood in Jangkang Village, Bengkalis Regency. In this study, measurements were taken of smoke flow rate at 121.46 m³/h, ambient temperature at 27.5°C, inlet temperature to the condenser at 44°C, and outlet temperature from the condenser at 28.63°C. From these data, the amount of liquid smoke produced was 14 liters. Using Mamdani fuzzy logic, modeling was performed to predict the production of liquid smoke based on the temperature output. This modeling was done using matlab software, which produced a prediction of 14.1 liters of liquid smoke. The difference between the predicted result and the actual result was only 0.1 liters, indicating that the Mamdani fuzzy logic model used has a high level of accuracy in predicting the quantity of liquid smoke produced. Therefore, Mamdani fuzzy logic can be used as an effective method to predict the production of liquid smoke based on temperature
