Abstract
Along with the times and technology, people's desire to use motorbikes in their daily activities continues to increase from time to time. This can be proven by the large number of motorbikes around us, especially in the Bengkalis Regency area. Data from the official website of the Indonesian National Police shows that the number of motorized vehicles in Riau Province in the Bengkalis Regency area in 2024 reached 335,674 units greater than the number of other vehicles, In the automotive world to improve engine performance can be obtained by maximizing the distribution of power to the wheels. This can be done by maximizing the performance of the transmission system which will affect the power distributed from the engine to the wheels optimally, therefore it is necessary to innovate about optimizing the power transfer system in the automatic transmission system, so as to achieve large power and increased acceleration. The purpose of this research is to find out how much influence the use of roller weight variations of 11 grams, 12 grams, 13 grams, 14 grams, and 15 grams has on the speed on a 155 cc Injection motorcycle. The test was carried out using the Dynotester tool by replacing the CVT roller according to the weight to be tested alternately, then preparing the Dynotester tool and adjusting it then starting to pull the motorcycle gas from a low rpm of 1500 rpm to 9000 rpm. The results of the test were processed using the taguchi method minitab application which showed that the roller weight with a weight of 11 grams was the best to use.
