Abstract

Development in the field of structures is currently experiencing very rapid progress, which is taking place in various fields, for example buildings, bridges, towns and so on. Concrete is one choice as a structural material in building construction. Master Rheobuild 6 is an additive for concrete mixtures which functions as a partial replacement for cement and aims to improve the quality of concrete. The method used in this research is the concrete compressive strength method. In this study, 90 samples were made of a mixture of Master Rheobuild 6 substances in the form of cylinders 10 x 20 cm with a curing age of 7, 14 and 28 days with variations of normal concrete without, concrete with 5%, 10% water addition and 5%, 10% water reduction. % and 15%. with the addition of Master Rheobuild 6 additive as much as 1.5% of the normal amount of concrete cement. The planned concrete quality is 35 Mpa. The results of the research, with normal concrete compressive strength of 11.55 Mpa, variations in reducing water aged 28 days produce a compressive strength of 32.19 Mpa. The use of addictive substances as additional ingredients in the concrete mixture increases the strength of the concrete by reducing water by 15%.
