Abstract
Subtitling needed as much as voiceover, aims to help viewers enjoy the film. At work, translator of film scripts fase difficult in terms of language cultures and media. The purpose of this product is to make promotion video of tourism object in Bagansiapiapi, Rokan Hilir. Process of making subtitle of Bakar Tongkang Festival video. There ere several processes in making Englisg subtitle of Bakar Tongkang Festival video. They were as follows: Finding the Materials, Collecting the Materials, Writing the Script text of video and Translating the text of video into English. The product of this final project was a video with the title “The Making of Subtitle Bakar Tongkang Festival Video.
