Abstract

During the life of the bengkalis river bridge, there are structural components under the bridge that are damaged due to environmental or operational pressures. Evaluation in terms of structure using the NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) method. The NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) method is an inspection method that does not cause damage to structural elements and is carried out using a dial detector (dial gauge) and visual inspection tools using the 1992 BMS method (Bridge Management System). The results of the visual inspection of the plate elements in the field gave a condition value of 3 and damage in the form of severe spalling and honeycombing resulting in exposed reinforcement and corrosion. The bridge's allowable deflection value was 5 mm. Field testing using a dial indicator found that the deflection of the Slab element was 0,27 mm for a truck load of 6,046 tons. The deflection achieved using the Abaqus application at a load of 6,046 tons was 0,091 mm. The load of 6,046 tons is only for comparison in Abaqus Cae Software.
