Abstract

This research aims to find out how the process of managing merchandise inventory and sales is valid. Or find out how to overcome the imbalance between too much inventory (overstock) or too little (understock). And find out how PT. Wilmar carries out an assessment of the value of inventory minimun quality standards for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernel Oil (PKE) are usually determined by various quality parameters. The collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the inventory of goods at PT. Wilmar Nabati Indonesia includes palm oil products and their derivative products. The raw material is Crude Palm Oil (CPO) which is then processed in the refinery into various products such as crude palm oil, cooking oil, and raw materials for the food industry, cosmetics, and various other products. PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia manages this inventory through the processing of CPO into various palm oil products and distribution to various markets. PT. Wilmar Nabati Indonesia uses the FIFO (First In First Out) method in managing its inventory. The management process involves several stages, including receiving FFB (Fresh Fruit Bunches).
