Abstract

This study aims to determine the Implementation of the Village Asset Management System (SIPADES) in Bengkalis District. This problem is an attraction to research because it wants to evaluate whether this system can help village officials in implementing village asset management. This research took several villages in Bengkalis District, namely Pangkalan Batang Village, Kelemantan Village, Palkun Village, Senggoro Village, Wonosari Village, and Kelapapati Village. The data sources required are primary data and secondary data. Data collection through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study show that the villages in Bengkalis Subdistrict have implemented SIPADES well, it can be seen from the quality of human resources managing SIPADES who have received adequate training and skills development. Although most of the village operators are only high school graduates, they are able to master the SIPADES application well thanks to intensive training. However, villages in Bengkalis Regency still face obstacles in implementing SIPADES, especially network limitations that cause frequent system errors and downtime. This problem disrupts the operational efficiency and stability of village asset management, and makes it difficult to track and manage data in real-time. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to improve technological infrastructure and better support so that SIPADES can run smoothly and effectively in all villages.
