Abstract

This research analyzes the calculation of Quantity Take Off (QTO) using the Building Information Modeling (BIM) method with Autodesk Revit software on reinforced concrete work. The case study focused on the Silam Bridge construction project on the Bangkinang - Pangkalan Toll Road, Silam Village, Kampar District. In this study, modeling and calculation of reinforced concrete volume were carried out using the BIM method and compared with conventional methods to test the accuracy and efficiency of both approaches. The results show that the use of the BIM (Revit) method provides more accurate and efficient calculation results than conventional methods, reducing the potential for calculation errors and increasing effectiveness in planning and implementing construction projects. The QTO comparison for concrete has a difference of 0,021% and reinforcement of 1,183% ,indicating that the BIM-based QTO is smaller than the calculation results with conventional methods. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for construction professionals in implementing BIM technology for similar projects in the future.
