Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Financial Accountability and Performance Accountability on the Trust of the Young Generation in the Meranti Islands Regency Government. This research is a type of quantitative research. The population used in this study were Meranti Islands Regency students studying in Bengkalis, which consisted of three campuses, namely Bengkalis State Polytechnic, Bengkalis State Islamic College and Bengkalis Sharia College of Economics. The data collection technique in this study was to use a questionnaire. The data analysis method in this study used multiple linear regression analysis methods with the help of IBM SPSS Version 25. The results of this study indicate that Financial Accountability has a significant influence on the trust of the younger generation in the Meranti Islands Regency Government, while Performance Accountability does not have a significant influence on the trust of the younger generation in the Meranti Islands Regency Government.
