Abstract
Concrete with a quality of f’c 40 MPa is usually used for construction projects that require high compressive strength, such as multi-storey building structures, bridge, roads,and other infrastructure. As the times develop, additivies also develop, and at this time additivies have a new generation, to become additivies, namely Grolen Hp19R which is an additive in the form of a liquid. Grolen Hp19R is an addictive substance with Type F ( High Range Water Reducing,High Range Admixtures ) which is useful for high-quality concrete. The method used in this test is to make a concrete mixture using SNI 03-2834:2000 with Grolen Hp19R as an additive to the concrete mixture by 0,6%. The cylinder size used in this test is 10 x 20 cm, with a presentation of 3 and 28 days od immersion time and for 5 variations of slump flow is carried out. Based on the measurement of the slump value that has been carried out, the slump value on normal concrete is 30 mm, and for 5 variations the slump flow value is carried out, for the highest value, namely the variation of BN + GR 0.6%, a value of 620 mm, and for the lowest value, namely the variation of water reduction of 40% + GR 0.6% with a value of 545 mm, so along with the amount of water reduction, the slump value is also decreasing. From the test of the weight of concrete content, the highest was obtained at the variation of water reduction of 30% + GR 0.6% with a value of 2565.78 kg/m3, and the lowest concrete content weight was obtained at the variation of BN + GR 0.6% with a value of 2299.01 Kg/m3. From the results of the tests carried out, it is included in the normal concrete category because the average weight of the test object is 2200 kg/m3 – 2500 kg/m3.Based on the compressive strength test, the compressive strength value of concrete for 3 and 28 days was obtained, for normal concrete at the age of 28 days the compressive strength value was 29.80 MPa. The highest compressive strength of concrete at the age of 3 days was 27.65 MPa at the variation of water reduction of 40% + GR 0.6% and for the lowest compressive strength of 14.62% at the variation of BN+GR 0.6%. The highest compressive strength of concrete at the age of 28 days was 42.20 Mpa in the variation of water reduction of 40% + GR 0.6% on, while the lowest compressive strength of concrete was 23.68 MPa in the variation of BN+GR 0.6%. The concrete that is added to Grolen HP19R, the greater the reduction in the amount of water, the higher the quality of the concrete.
