Abstract
Miniature tug boat construction is a ship construction model made on a small scale so that students can see the object directly, a real tug boat construction. In this case, the author will create a design and construction miniature for a Tug Boat according to BKI (Indonesian Classification Bureau) standards. The output that will be obtained from making these miniatures is to support the efficiency of the learning process in the Marine Engineering department. This miniature is also equipped with lighting. The main sizes of tug boats that the author uses are: Length Over All (LOA) = 30,000 m ; Length Between Perpendicular (LBP) = 27,696 m ;Length Waterline = 29,187 m; Breadth (B)= 8,600 m; Depth (H) = 4,115 m; Draught (T)= 3,450 m; Design Speed = 11 Knot.
