Abstract
The calculation of the volume of work is generally calculated using conventional methods, but along with the development of technology 4.0, the calculation of the volume of work is calculated using BIM (Building Information Modeling). Building Information Modeling (BIM) is able to simulate construction projects in 3D. With BIM technology, an accurate model of the building can be visualized in 3D. There is a BIM support software by Autodesk that functions for architectural, structural and mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) design. In this study, the calculation of the volume of structural work was carried out using Autodesk Revit and conventional methods, then a comparison of the volume of structural work between Autodesk Revit and conventional methods was carried out in the construction of the Biznet Padang Warehouse. From the results of the research conducted, a comparison of the volume of work using conventional methods and Autodesk Revit was obtained in the construction of the Biznet Padang Warehouse, namely, Footplate Volume: 0% reinforcement 8%, Pedestal column volume: 4.9% reinforcement 0%, sloof volume: 0.3% reinforcement 3%, floor plate volume: 0.02% reinforcement: 12%, steel column volume: 0%, HWF 200x100 steel beam: 0.5% HWF 150x75: 2.1%, HWF 200x100 steel truss volume: 1.6%, steel purlin volume: 0%.
