Abstract

This final assignment aims at the KM.Kelud passenger service process at Batu Ampar Port. The aim of the researcher is to find out the passenger service process,the obstacles in the KM.Kelud service process and to find out efforts to improve the KM.Kelud passenger service process. So that researchers are more directed,focused and avoid discussions that become too broad. This research was carried out from March to June 2024 and the place where this research was carried out was at PT. Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia Batam branch. This research uses qualitative methods and a descriptive approach. The method used to obtain the necessary information from related parties is that researchers prepare direct observation methods (observation), interviews and documentation. The results of this research found that efforts in the passenger service process of KM. Kelud, PT PELNI Batam branch carried out developments in improving adequate facilities,implementing an efficient queuing system and improving information technology or online check-in.
