Abstract
Bengkalis is an island surrounded by sea bordering the Malacca Strait and has many natural riches. Apart from that, there are also several problems that often arise on the coast, one of which is sesai. Action is needed that can bring change to this problem by utilizing sesai which is processed into briquettes. A press tool is one of the components needed in making briquettes, therefore there is a need for a press tool that is easy for the public to use. Planning a press tool using a hydraulic system as a press, equipped with a pressure gauge as a benchmark for pressing the briquettes with a pressure of 25 kg and holding for 1 minute. UNP 50 x 35 x 2.2 mm iron material for the press frame and has 15 printing cylinders with a diameter of 40 mm and a height of 60 mm. From the test results, 1 kg of dough was obtained in one mold for 5.23 minutes and produced 15 briquettes.
