Abstract
Bridge infrastructure plays a very important role in supporting the connectivity and mobility of a region. Bridges are not only a vital route for transportation, but also a key element in supporting economic and social activities in the vicinity. Over time, bridge structures can experience damage due to various factors such as excessive loads, extreme weather, and aging of construction materials. This damage can threaten the safety of bridge users and cause disruption to transportation activities. Therefore, effective maintenance and good management are necessary to ensure the sustainability and safety of bridge infrastructure. To conduct an inspection of the condition of existing bridges in the Rupat District area, this research uses a visual method. From the results of the research conducted, it can be seen what damage is found in each element on the Tanjung Kapal Bridge.
