Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the advantages of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Quantity Take Off (QTO) calculations for box culverts. A case study using Autodesk Revit 2023 was conducted to compare the calculation results with conventional methods. The results show that BIM can produce more detailed and accurate 3D models, thus facilitating QTO calculations. Additionally, BIM also increases work efficiency as the calculation process can be done automatically. The comparison of the iron weight produced by both methods shows a difference of 0.20428%, indicating the superiority of BIM in terms of accuracy.
