Abstract

The library is one part of an educational place that has an important role in increasing students' insight and knowledge. The problem with this research is that at the current time the Jangkang Village library has a book search system in the library which is still done manually by going to the library to see the availability of books in the library, and the book borrowing system is still done manually by librarians writing down the data. borrowing books in the borrowing record book, and borrowers seeing information such as announcements about the Tanggang village library which are recommended for borrowing still manually, namely by using wall boards as a place to inform borrowers. Based on this problem, the author wants to build a library system that can help managers in collecting book data, managing information about the library and making it easier to borrow books, sob that it can be a reference for users in viewing book data, viewing library information and borrowing books in the library. Application of the RUP (Rational Unified Process) method is a software development method that is iterative and incremental. RUP is a software development process approach developed by Rational Software Corporation (now part of IBM). The result is the creation of a library system that can help library managers register books, provide information about libraries and make it easier for people to borrow books and find out information about libraries without having to physically go to the library.
