Abstract

The people of Bantan district are known for their majority of residents as fishermen and often catch fish in the sea. So the availability of ice raw materials as a cooling medium is needed to keep fish fresh. The lack of availability of ice raw materials from the mainland due to having to share with mobile fish sellers and other traders is the cause of the lack of availability of ice raw materials and the catch becomes less fresh upon arrival on land. The purpose of this Final Project is to design an ice-making ship to become a provider and supplier of ice from the ocean. With a capacity of 50 tons of ice so that the main size of the ship is obtained, LOA = 22 m, LWL = 21.216 m, B = 5 m, H = 2.5 m, T = 1.7 m, VS = 5 knots. The process of making the hull using Maxurf Modeler Advance, then modified by using AutoCAD and Rhino to get a line plan design, and general arragement, as well as the machine tools used on the ship, namely there is 1 engine ice maker with a capacity of 25 tons, and 1 ice lifting crane machine with a capacity of 500 Kg.
