Abstract
This multipurpose ship 1 is a project at the polytechnic majoring in shipping engineering. In this case, the interior of the ship, especially the small hatch. In building a small hatch, there are many processes that must be carried out to build a small hatch. Star planning/reading drawings, measuring, marking, cutting, fitting, joining, finishing, finished. The aim of this research is to create a small hatch based on NK (Nippon Kaiji Kyokai) data in Indonesia. After carrying out the fabrication process, a tightness test will be carried out on the hatch cover and hatch coaming, a tightness test will be carried out with the required pressure 0,2 mpa with a distance determined by the class of 1,5 m, so that the small hatch can be tested. Therefore, this research aims to provide an analytical overview of the fabrication of small hatches.
