Abstract

This study aims to develop a monitoring system for electricity consumption on postpaid KWH meters to enhance efficiency and control of energy usage. Postpaid KWH meters are devices that allow users to pay their electricity bills at the end of the billing period and monitor their energy consumption. However, a major challenge is the lack of an effective real-time monitoring system. In this research, an IoT (Internet of Things)-based monitoring system integrated with postpaid KWH meters is designed. The system uses current and voltage sensors to accurately measure energy consumption. The collected data is then analyzed and displayed through the Blynk application, which allows users to monitor energy consumption in real-time.
