Abstract

Three-phase motor speed regulation is a crucial aspect in various industrial applications to improve energy efficiency and system performance. In this research, we developed a three-phase motor speed control system using a Variable Speed Drive (VSD) which is integrated with Internet of Things (IoT) technology. This system allows controlling and monitoring motor speed in real-time via the internet network. Sensors and microcontrollers are used to collect motor operational data, which is then sent to the IoT platform for analysis and access by users. Test results show that this system is able to regulate motor speed with high precision, as well as providing flexibility and ease in remote control. Thus, the implementation of this IoT-based VSD can provide an effective solution for optimizing three-phase motor operations in various industrial sectors.
