Abstract
Manually cutting in welding workshops has disadvantages such as inaccuracy, low cut straightness, high gas consumption, and large operational costs. Previous studies created a 6 inch automatic pipe cutting tool, but the low rotation problem still exists. This research designs a pipe cutting tool using a torch to improve cut quality. Based on the analysis of 2 inch pipes at different rpm, the results will be applied to 3-6 inch pipes with single phase AC electric motors. This final project includes redesigning tools, adding transmission systems, and adjustments to produce quality cuts on pipes of various sizes, with the aim of increasing the efficiency and quality of operator work.
