Abstract

The use of cell phones is very beneficial but in certain conditions and situations it becomes very disturbing for the general public such as exam rooms, meetings, places of worship, and other places that require no use of cell phones. In this study, the solution to this problem is discussed by disabling the cell phone signal directly at a certain distance in an area where the use of cell phones is not allowed, namely the prayer room with the P10 matrix LED running text display which is controlled via the android bluetooth Hc-05 media. One of the methods used to solve this problem is using a jammer, which is a device that emits a signal full of noise in the same frequency band as a cellular phone, namely in this final project the frequency bands are GSM, CDMA, DCS, Pcs, 3G, 4G, GPS signal blockers so that Cell phones cannot be used in the jammer area, the research was conducted by looking for reference sources, discussions, experiments and testing. From the research that has been done, the results obtained in field tests on provider networks, namely Telkomsel, Axis and Tri the maximum distance is 15 to 16 meters, while for XL and wifi as far as 20 meters the network is lost.
