Abstract

Nowaday, the agribushiness sector has become a new favorite for the Indonesian people as a business sector that providers encouraging prospects. Such as fields related to agricultural product, as well as in the industrial sector that prosesses agricultural product. The development of science and the world of technology, especially in the field of home industry, is currently experiencing very rapid development and progress. Increasingly advanced machine tecnology will be very helpful in encouraging the progress of small and medium businesses, especially in the cassava chip production business. Outseal PLC based automatic cassava chopping machine. In this system, the chopping process will be carried out, namely the cassava is inserted into a pipe which is given a spring which function as pusher for the cassava towards the chopper. When the cassava is inserted into the pipe the chopper motor will automatically turn ON, when the cassava is finished the motor will automatically turn OFF auomatically. Using a procimity sensor and using the Outseal PLC as an automatic regulator, then the chopped cassava results will be stored in a holding container.
