Abstract
Traffic activity on the Bantan road section which connects Kec. Bengkalis – District. The curbs which increase from year to year on this road section no longer provide comfort for users because the road body is not wide enough so that vehicle accidents often occur at certain points. Plus, this area is the main route for Bantan road users. For this reason, a long-term plan is needed and an increase in road class on the Bantan District road section. Bengkalis – District. Bantan. In this case, it is necessary to plan the widening of the Bantan road using flexible pavement with a width of 7.5 meters for 2,365 KM, this will be a solution to the problem and can guarantee comfort in transportation in the future so that it can become the main road that meets current needs. cross.
