Abstract

The panic button is a tool whose main function is to provide information or emergency events. The problem that has occurred so far is that the public information complaint service process with the current system is still less effective and efficient. When there are people who need help in an urgent situation or when an emergency occurs, the applicant can contact the Service Center. The process of receiving information takes time. This problem can be solved by making a wireless panic button device using WiFi. The wireless panic button using WiFi has been designed to be effective in providing emergency notifications quickly and in real time. This system consists of a NodeMCU ESP6 microcontroller as Wi-Fi network connectivity between the microcontroller itself and the Wi-Fi network. The test results show that the tool can still work at a distance of 20 m with a voltage of 4.10 V. This tool works well with a success rate of 100%.
