Abstract

Factors that support the selection of concrete are economical, fire resistance, stiffness and ease of maintenance. In this study, the concrete with the job mixformula was examined for the effect of seawater curing using SNI 7656: 2012. The compressive strength test of concrete compared the compressive strength of concrete treated with seawater and fresh water. By using the JMF (Job Mix Formla) SNI 2012 method to obtain special characteristics or properties of the resulting concrete, such as high compressive strength and low maintenance costs. The results showed that the compressive strength of 7-day-old concrete in seawater immersion obtained an average of 15.591 Mpa and the compressive strength value of fresh water immersion obtained an average of 16.114 Mpa. At the age of 14 days of immersion in seawater the average compressive strength value is 13.916 MPa and at fresh water immersion the average compressive strength value is 14,282 MPa. At the age of 21 days of immersion in seawater, the average compressive strength value is 12.217 MPa and at the fresh water immersion the average compressive strength is 14.958 MPa. At the age of 28 days of concrete immersion in seawater the average compressive strength value is 14.040 MPa and at fresh water immersion the average compressive strength value is 14,437 MPa.
