Abstract
Alternative development on the design of the mold ship design has been designed by Jamal with the main size of the ship, namely: Length (LOA) is 8 m,Width midship section (B) = 1.6 m, Midship section height (H) = 0.7. M. But in the previous design, the mold design was not yet designed. In this study the mold design was designed according to the design of the ship. In making miniature molds using a 5: 1 scale so that the resulting miniature prints are: Length (LOA)= 1.6 meters, Width of midship section (B) = 0.32 meters, Midship section height(H) = 0.14 meters. The material used is steel with a thickness of 2 mm. The construction of HDPE plastic ship molds requires a cost of Rp.2,800,000 and the need for plastic used as shipbuilding is equal to 0.015 m3 or equivalent to 14.02 kg
